Anybody that wants a quite country stay with a lot of comfort and an old farmhouse vibe will be hardpressed to find a place better than this. The cottage is absolutely full of character. Highly recommended.

Perfectly functional, peaceful, clean, comfortable, and pretty.
An incredibly restful and refreshing stopover, on our long road trip. I would happily stay here again.
The cabin is well-stocked with plenty of liquid soaps, eco dish liquid, milk, etc. We did not want for anything during our stay.
Bed was 10/10 comfy, plus dual electric blankets, reverse cycle a/c, loads of windows for letting fresh air through.
We did not find the Walcha dining options to be spectacular, so I would probably grab dinner at Armidale next time, before heading to the cabin.

The moment you arrive at this rural retreat near Walcha, you're immediately struck by a profound sense of peaceful serenity. The space is impeccably appointed, with every detail thoughtfully curated to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home, and despite being on a short work trip, I found myself constantly marveling at how the hosts had provided everything you could possibly need and more. From the verandah, I was treated to a private concert of local birds. The tranquility was a balm for the soul. As dusk fell, a different kind of magic began, the night sky came alive with an astonishing display of stars, .While my visit was brief, it was an incredibly restorative experience. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful escape.

Friendly responsive host, quaint and clean restored cottage with a fireplace ready to go for those chilly New England nights….easy directions in a quiet and beautiful country surroundings only a couple of minutes from Walcha.

This was a magic spot to stay. I arrived in the dark and woke to the most spectacular sunrise. The views across the paddocks where so serene. The cabin was well appointed and so cosy! I will certainly stay again!
